HEADLIGHT MANAGEMENT

If the parking brake is not activated, the operator will not be able to raise the mast. In the event of the cart brake being released, the mast will automatically lower.

Setting
The extraction site, located in the heart of the Chilean Andes, operated in a context characterized by rarefaction of oxygen, strong temperature fluctuations (from +25°C to -20°C in a few hours), and rugged terrain. The logistical difficulties and environmental conditions made the movement of vehicles complex and required reliable lighting solutions to support activities over an operational area of over 30,000 sqm.
Need
The client needed a mobile lighting system, wind-resistant and capable of ensuring consistent performance even at high altitudes. It was essential to have reliable lighting towers that could operate continuously during shifts of up to 12–14 hours, to ensure visibility and safety in extraction activities.
Solution
N° 4 Astrid MultiLED 4x320W lighting towers, with a luminous flux of over 170,000 lumens per unit, have been distributed in the main operational areas of the mine. Each tower has ensured coverage of up to 5,000 sqm, providing uniform and stable lighting.
